newsletter, bringing you the latest in church furniture
and decorations. Our newsletter is designed to educate
and inform you about the latest products available and
let you hear what questions our customers are asking.
In this newsletter we will focus on ways to keep church
member data and clergy data protected and safe. We
will also discuss the different types of wood stains
and fabric options. We will cover how to select the
colors and fabric options you want and add them to the
shopping cart.

Is it important for a church to have a paper shredder?
You would be surprised how many churches use shredders.
Identity theft continues to be an ever-increasing
problem. Most churches deal with financial records and
church member data on a regular basis. You don't want
any financial information, names, birthdates or other
sensitive data ending up in the wrong hands.
Although it may surprise you, dumpster diving is
perfectly legal in most states. There are no federal
laws banning dumpster diving. Once trash leaves the
building, it is public domain. Many people have had
their identity stolen due to the trash.
There are primarily two different types of shredders.
The first and oldest type of shredder is the strip
cut paper shredder. These shredders take paper and cut
it into strips. The strips are usually 1/4-inch wide.
Strip cut shredders will not deter the most resilient
criminal, who will take the time to piece things back
together. Most criminals, however, will not bother to
put the paper back together, opting to find an easier
target.
Cross cut shredders are growing in popularity. They
are sometimes referred to as confetti cut shredders.
Cross cut shredders are more secure than strip cut
shredders due to the fact that they cut paper in more
than one direction. Cross cut shredders are ideal for
more sensitive information.

How do I see your wood and fabric options on your Web
site?
Most of our Web pages allow you to view fabric and
wood colors before you purchase furniture. Selection
can vary, depending on the furniture being viewed.
I will use the Model 220 Chair as an example (http://www.heavenlywood.com/220-chair.htm.) When you
go to the page, you will see the link "Stain Colors"
in blue. Click on the link and it will open the wood
stain colors page. A large color sample can be viewed
at the top left. Other wood sample colors can be seen
below.
Simply click one of the other color samples to see
a larger version of it displayed in the upper left.
Once you have selected the color you like, click
the link that says "SELECT THIS COLOR." This will
close the window and you are ready to submit your
furniture to the shopping cart with the desired color.
Selecting fabric options is very similar to wood stains.
Using the Model 220 Chair as an example (http://www.heavenlywood.com/220-chair.htm), you will
want to click the link that says "Upholstery Fabrics."
This will open up a new window. This will bring up
four different fabric categories. Each category
has dozens of fabric options to chose from. With this
chair you will see the Standard, Divinity Collection,
Sanctuary Collection and Hero.
Once you have picked a category, select the fabric you
want. It will show the selected fabric in the larger
sample square in the upper left of the screen. Clicking
on different tiled thumbnails will display different
fabric styles and colors. Once you have selected the
fabric you like, click the link that says "SELECT THIS
COLOR." This will close the window and you are ready to
submit your furniture to the shopping cart.
