This year Easter is April 8th. Now is the perfect time
of year to start preparing for new furniture for your
church. Easter is a popular time among our customers
to purchase new furniture. Our hand-made furniture
can take three to five weeks to manufacture, so
ordering now will ensure that you get your furniture
in time for Easter.
----Featured Product Of The Month----
This month we are featuring the model 466 communion
table. This table is made from solid Northern Red Oak
from New York state. It has a traditional appearance and
is available in a variety of wood stains. "In
Remembrance of Me" is etched into the wood, but can
be modified if so desired. Custom modifications can
be made to the height, width and length. You can see
this communion table by going here:

--Newsletter--
"Are your crosses available in more sizes than listed on
your site?"
This is one of the most common questions we receive at
Heavenly Wood. Our crosses are available in the sizes
listed on our site
(http://www.heavenlywood.com/crosses.htm?NL) and can be
modified to just about any size you need.
The largest cross we advertise on our site is 60" high.
This can be made even taller and wider. Just remember
that custom modifications will take a little longer
to manufacture. We love custom furniture requests and
are more than happy to accommodate.
Just let us know what modification you need by calling
us (800-257-2968) or by filling out a simple form
(http://www.heavenlywood.com/price-request.htm?NL).
Just be sure to mention exactly what modifications you
need by listing them under the "comments" field.

What are the benefits of Northern Red Oak in furniture?
You may have noticed that that most of our church
furniture is made from Northern Red Oak from New
York state.
Northern Red Oak is a type of oak tree native to
North America, often found in the eastern United
States. The trees can grow up to 141 feet tall and can
get a trunk up to 6.6 feet in diameter.
The wood of the Northern Red Oak is highly valued by
furniture manufacturers. It is considered a hardwood
lumber. It features a close-grain look and is great for
building furniture. The wood is both dense and heavy.
It is also used for making cabinets and flooring. It
machines well and looks great as a finished product.
We like to use Red Oak and the end result is great-
looking furniture. The furniture is very durable and
will last a long time.
-------------------------
"I often see references to lecterns, podiums, altars,
communion tables and other furniture. How can I learn
about the general use of this furniture in a traditional
church environment?"
It is often difficult to distinguish what furniture goes
where and what it is used for. We sell a wide variety
of furniture.
Many pieces of furniture go by the same name. A good
example of this is a prie dieu
(http://www.heavenlywood.com/prie_dieu.htm?NL).
Prie Dieu is a French word for "request or pray to God."
Prie Dieus are also referred to as prayer kneelers.
You can read more about what our furniture is and what
the general use is by going to our church furniture
guide. You can find it by going here:

In order to continue to receive our newsletter, please
contact your e-mail service provider and have them put
us on their white list. With the increase of junk mail,
many e-mail service providers are making it more difficult
to send e-mails to customers.
Putting us on a white list will ensure that you will
continue to receive the best church furniture news and
advice available.
We love to hear suggestions on topics from our customers
that can be placed in future newsletters. If you don't
have any topic suggestions, ask us a question. We are
industry experts, and are happy to answer all your
inquiries. Send all your newsletter suggestions or
questions to salesmanager@heavenlywood.com.
