Welcome to the fourth edition of the Heavenly Wood
newsletter, bringing you the latest in church furniture
and decorations. Our newsletter is designed to educate
and inform you about the latest products available and
let you hear what questions our customers are asking.
This issue will discuss different equipment available to
help keep a church running smoothly.
EQUIPMENT TO HELP YOU KEEP YOUR CHURCH RUNNING SMOOTHLY
A lot is involved in keeping a church operational.
Literature, programs and brochures are needed in any
organization. Equipment is available that allows you to
produce a variety of literature in-house. Churches often
print and create literature to hand out to the congregation
and other people. These pamphlets are an important way to
get information, doctrine and upcoming events to others.
Our most popular piece of equipment purchased by our
customers is paper folders. Often before church meetings
begin, programs are passed to the congregation to inform
them regarding speeches, songs and other activities. These
programs are usually folded once down the center. Hand-
folding programs and brochures is time consuming. Paper
folders allow you to lay a stack of pre-printed material
in a feeder. The paper folder then takes the paper and
folds it per the requested fold. Paper folders can fold
hundreds of documents in minutes. They are also ideal for
folding brochures, letters, pamphlets and more.
There are several types of paper folders. The type of paper
folder you need will depend on the volume and type of paper
you will be using. Friction paper folders use a rubber
wheel to pull paper into the machine for folding. There are
three categories of friction-feed paper folders. Air-feed
folders use air to pull paper into the machine and are
ideal for use with glossy paper.
These are the most common categories of paper folders:
Manual setup, auto-feed paper folders
Use manual setup, auto-feed paper folders for medium to
high-volume paper folding. These folders have friction
rollers that automatically pull the paper in from the feed
tray and fold it. The only manual process required is
setting up the folder. With a manual setup folder, you
usually have to adjust the folding plates to the exact
fold you want.
Manual semi-automatic setup, auto-feed paper folders
These folders have friction rollers that automatically
pull the paper in from the feed tray and fold it. The only
manual process required is setting up the folder. With a
semi-automatic folder, you usually turn dials to adjust
the paper fold. This is easier than manually adjusting the
folding plates.
Auto setup, auto-feed paper folders
These folders have friction rollers that automatically pull
the paper in from the feed tray and fold it. The paper
folder automatically self-adjusts according to the type of
fold you need.
Air or suction-feed paper folders
Glossy paper requires a different type of paper folder.
Because glossy paper is slippery, friction rollers are
unable to grasp it and pull it in to be folded. In these
circumstances, an air-feed paper folder is required. These
paper folders use air to suck the paper in rather than a
friction roller. Air-feed paper folders can also be used
with standard paper.

Our second most popular piece of equipment purchased by
our customers is bookletmakers. Bookletmakers take a stack
of paper, fold it and staple it. The end result is a very
professional-looking booklet. Bookletmakers are perfect
for creating books in-house. This gives you complete
control when it comes to creating literature.
One of our most popular bookletmaker models is the
BookletMate (http://www.heavenlyoffice.com/book1.htm).
This bookletmaker is popular because it is less expensive
than most models and easy to use. It is semi-automatic and
great for use in small churches for occasional jobs. If
you need to create hundreds of booklets a day, you will
need to look at a higher-volume model.
The Sprint series bookletmaker is popular among our
customers because it can be interfaced with a collator for
high-volume bookletmaking. The Sprint series bookletmakers
can process up to 1500 booklets per hour. You can see our
entire selection of booklet makers by going here:
