What Types Of Church Furniture Can Be Moved From One
Church To Another, Yet Still Withstand Wear And Tear?
We have several pieces of church furniture that are
specifically designed to be portable. Weight is sometimes
the biggest issue. Wooden furniture can be heavy. Size can
also be an issue. Furniture sometimes needs to be able to
fit inside a van or other vehicle. I will provide
recommendations on several categories of church furniture
and what I would recommend.
What is the best portable lectern/podium?
One of my first recommendations would be the table top
folding lectern. Many churches and other locations already
have existing furniture, such as tables. A folding lectern
is compact and sets up on existing furniture. You can find

Another option could be one of our speaker stands. We sell
several that weigh in at only 10-15 pounds, but still look

you need something that looks more like a traditional

What is the best portable table/altar?
Altars and tables are a little more difficult regarding
portably, because they are made from solid wood. Some of
our altars weigh over 300 pounds. Our model 412 portable
altar is 155 pounds

may still be more than you are able to transport. Many
customers will purchase the more compact model 345, 346 or

These weigh between 55 and 75 pounds. You will want to
make sure the dimensions meet your needs.
What is the best portable chair?
We would recommend our stackable chairs for portability.
They are comfortable, lightweight and take up little
space as they stack on top of each other. This makes it
easy to load them into a van or other vehicle. You can

What is the best portable pew/bench?
Our model 373 portable church pew is what we would
recommend. It is available in different sizes and is easy
to move. Not only can it be transported, but it is great
for rooms that are used for church services where they
can be cleared out to make room for other activities. You

What is the best portable kneeler?
Kneelers do not usually weigh very much. Most of the
kneelers on this page

little. Individual kneelers are usually very portable.
They don't start becoming difficult to move until you
move up to the multi-person kneelers.

Many churches ask us if we offer bulk discount rates. This
is because new churches require a lot of furniture, and
remodeled churches will often replace everything. We do
offer bulk discounts. The discount varies depending on
