----Questions----
Question: I've been browsing your site and noticed that
you sell altars. What is an altar used for?
Answer: Depending on the denomination, altars are commonly
found in churches. Sometimes there is only one, and some
churches use several. Again, it depends on the
denomination, but altars are typically consecrated and
used to hold the Sacred Host, chalice or sacrament. In the
Catholic church it is used during the celebration of
Masses for distribution of the Holy Communion. A cloth or
linen is often laid over the top of the altar to help
protect the surface.
Altars have also been used in churches to hold sacred
objects, artifacts, books and other material. This style
of table is also popular for use in lawyers' offices and
doctors’ offices. Most altars are made of wood.
We sell a wide variety of altars. They vary in size and
design, but are all made from the highest quality of wood
and are fully customizable. You can see our entire
selection of altars by going here:

Question: What is a communion table?
Answer: The term communion table is synonymous with the
term Altar. Communion tables are used to offer communion or
sacrament. This holds wine or water and bread or Sacred
Host, depending on the church. Our communion tables are
hand-made and often contain ornate designs etched into
the wood. You can see our selection of communion tables
by going here:

We also sell altar sets that are designed to be placed
on top of an altar or communion table. Altar sets usually
consist of a cross and candles.

We love to hear suggestions on topics from our customers
that can be placed in future newsletters. If you don't
have any topic suggestions, ask us a question. We are
